For weeks, I’ve been looking forward to Beyonce’s appearance on Good Morning America, and today was the day! More than 7,000 Beyonce fans flocked to New York City’s Central Park to see her perform a medley of hits, including songs from her new album, 4, which is predicted to own the charts at number 1 in several countries next week.

In a flawless outfit designed by Mark Fast, King Beyonce’s show matched perfectly, as she performed Best Thing I Never Had, 1 + 1, Run the World (Girls), and closed her set with Single Ladies.

Beyonce shut the park down, and it put me in mid of Diana Ross. Her July 1983 Central Park performance, will forever be embedded in music concert history, she performed for two straight days, one day through a rain storm. True diva.

In the footage above, Robin Roberts briefly interviews Beyonce about her new album and the inspiration for the title.
